The Guide to Social Media Optimization will show you how to utilize what we consider to be the top 10 social media sites as powerful search marketing tools. What we have found is that each of the major social media sites has intrinsic power with respect to search engine optimization (SEO). This guide provides little-known, novel and innovative techniques and strategies for social media optimization, strategies which we believe are cutting-edge in the Search Engine Marketing industry. In our humble opinion, no other SEO company can utilize social media sites with the effectiveness and skills that we do. Although claiming these sites as the "Top 10" is a bit subjective, our determinations were not arbitrary; these 10 social media sites were selected because we were able to demonstrate, in concrete, empirical ways, their strengths.

Because Anita's site has strong page rank, relevancy and authority in Google. By writing a review on her MerchantCircle page, we were able to place our web address on her page. When Google saw this, it associated our writing services with hers. And since the link to our website is placed within a context of, and in close proximity to, the keyword phrase "professional writing services", and sits on a page with good authority and the same theme, we went from no ranking to a page 5 ranking in less than a week...
Note also that this is not a black hat practice. It is very much white hat, and in the best traditions of Web 2.0 strategy. We helped Anita's business by writing a review, and we helped our own business by posting the review on her high authority page. A win-win situation all around.
